What if you could help a loving family stay together? Something as simple as providing a bed or safe crib can be the difference between a family staying together or kids being separated from their families and placed in foster care. Approximately 427,910 children in the US have been removed from their families and placed into the care of The Department Of Child Services in a year’s time. Some of these children are removed due to a family or family member not being able to provide their basic needs. To combat this growing issue we must find a way to slow the amount of kids entering the system.

WHAT WE DO
RISE FOSTER CARE PREVENTION exists to provide safe sleep for families in danger of losing their children due to poverty. Our RISE Foster Care Prevention program provides safe sleep to help ensure that homes with minors meet the requirements of New Jersey’s Department of Child and Family Services. Along with meeting their initial needs we commit to providing ongoing support to help the family stay together.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
RISE FCP is seeking $100,000 for our first year's operational costs to purchase safe sleep for the families that are being served (60-75 families served in a year's time), the box truck needed to make deliveries, and to hire a director of operations.
You can give material goods or financially to help make this possible. We are also looking for mentor families to walk alongside our clients in their journey to wholeness.
